Muffles tune
Can some 1 explain a mafless tune to me and how much it is worth I want to get a Otr air intake and I herd u need to get this done also can some1 recommend somewhere in Melbourne to have it done

maffless tune is not available unless a motec ecu is installed.
yeah i personally wouldnt mind a bit more information on mafless tune's i've read that it needs to be done because when getting certain CAI, you need to get rid of the airflow sensor
the car i bought had CAI and mafless already done, that's why i wouldnt mind knowing a bit more about them

on the v8's its very possible, something to do with using a map sensor to manually configure air/fuel ratio by rpm, instead of using the airflow meter to calculate how much air is entering the engine. alloytecs do not have this feature and cannot be done using the standard ecu, until tuning is more developed
