Reversing Sensors in VZ Berlina

Just wondering if any one knows how to fix the reversing sensors in a VZ Berlina? They don't work at all. I have taken the tow ball off so there is nothing obstructing it. I found a plug in the boot, pluged it in and out and won't work in either.

Have you tested if the camera is receiving power? Also when you say its not working. Can you elaboration? The more information we have the better we can help.

It's not a camera, just the sensors that are suppose to beep the closer you get to an object when reversing. I read in the manual that the tow ball can affect it as its in the range of the sensors. The manual said to connect or disconnect the sensors, pull the plug or connect the plug in the boot door cavity.
I bought the car off a bloke who didn't take care of it and the sensors haven't worked since i got it (they don't make any noise). I think (hope) it might just be a fuse but there isn't or i can't find a fuse with the rest of the car's fuse box. It's not marked in the manual or on the lid of the fuse box, where the fuse for it actually is.
If you know where the fuse for it is so i can try that first would be a great help, But as i don't really have much more of an idea i'm open to all suggestions.

When it comes to fuses its well worth checking all of them instead of just the one your after. Had a few instances where something will play up, its fuse is fine but another is blown. Replace that and it it fixes the problem.

Either the previous owner decided to do some rewiring or my car is just stupid. And the beeps does it run through the stock radio speakers? Or do they go through a separate set?

If they use a seperate set, it may be worth testing them to see if they work. If they go through the factory speakers then I have to ask, is the headunit still the stock one? Or after market.
