    Default vz air con

i recently got a vz , do you need to change the gas in the system , eg service/regas, thwe system is working okay but naturally i would like it colder being a wagon with the dog in the back,,,would extra gas in the system make the system run cooler??, or is there a thermostat that can be adjusted to lower the temp,,,, thanks guys

Only way to tell how much gas is in the system is to recover it then regass. You can check pressures but regassing is the most accurate method. The car will lose gas over time.

if your going to keep your car, change the reciever drier aswell, they are a serviable item, the obsorb moisture in the system that eat orings and save your compressor from siezing.

The only way to increase the cooling capacity of your ac would be to increase the size of the whole system. Unless there is an obvious restriction like an under performing pump for pressure and flow required.

Window tint will also help keep the car cooler.
