    Default gears "jumping" in sv6

ever since i put the new exhaust on i have noticed almost a 'jumping' between 3rd and 4th. I had by car serviced around 2 months ago, at 105000km. it is now at 110000 and this has started to happen. nothing to say i need a service or anything...just a confused car with an even more confused driver...

hard to explain the 'jumping' other than its almost like the car brakes and accelerates when i accelerate through 3rd and 4th gear.

define chirp? because there is no difference sound wise accept for the usual vrroooomm-clunk-vroomm. its just the 'clunk' is where it feels like the car breaks heavily then accelerates agauin..

Best bet to take it to your mechanic mate. Very odd symptoms. I can't think of any reason your exhaust would affect your drivetrain in that way, except possibly different back pressure could change the way your engine response.
