Vz noisy fuel pump ?
Anyone had any problems with fuel pumps or the annoying whining sound they tend to make when there in need of replacement on any of the vz versions ? I know my old vl had a noisy fuel pump and I remember the sound which my vz sv6 is slightly starting to make , not sure if it's on it's way out or just a common problem ..

I haven't heard of it as a common problem, but there has been threads on this before. Its worth doing a search because its more helpful seeing what ended up happening rather than suggestions.

Iv searched but can't find anything , I was gonna get a new fuel pump and change it anyway as they aint that expensive but I think it's more of a job for a workshop than a home garage job ... It's weird though coz it only does it every now and then and car seems to misfire every now and then too but I'm guessing thats becoz I havnt changed all my coil packs yet which r all breaking down .... B4 I changed the first coil pack the car felt like it was surging and even with one coil pack replaced car seems good but still not as gutsy as it was so that's y I'm thinking something to do with fuel pump

Have your fuel pump pressure tested. That may tell you something.
