Fuel filter in ute?
Where the hell is the fuel filter located in a VZ Alloytec tray-back ute????!

its on the drivers side of the spare tyre
no it no there on this one mate

If you can't see an inline fuel filter under the tray somewhere, you have yourself an in-tank fuel filter.

Some of the utes and crewmans did not come with a filter, just the internal sock on the in tank pump. This is a massive fail on Holdens part and I've seen injector rails clogged with crap because of it and jammed open injectors causing flooding. Easiest fix is just cut the feed line to the rail in the engine bay and fit an inline filter.
Cheap, fast, reliable.....you only get to choose two.
