    Default VZ wagon rear shocks

Can anyone tell me how to get to the top of the rear shocks in a VZ wagon. Do you need to remove the plate bolted underneath to get at the top of the shockie bolt?

Yes. The five upper mounting plate retaining nuts need to be removed, along with the upper plate itself, to gain access to the shock absorber upper mounting nut.
