    Default Strange accelerator feeling

Hey guys just wondering if its common in a vz to feel a 'grinding' feeling coming from the accelerator at all times, it comes up when i rest my foot on it and also when accelerating, its kind of like a pulse off and on. Dunno how long its been going on for but it seems odd, anyone else felt this ? Just thought id put it out there...

At 70kmh I get a small vibration/ shudder back through the accelerator when cruising, I feel it's maybe that gear ratio and that speed resonates? It's not at any other speed

    Does it happen between 75km/h & 85km/h?
It's your torque converter locking up.
However it shouldn't make the shudder noise.

When explaining it to a transmission mechanic use the term flat spot and they will know its the torque converter.

Do you have a stock exhaust or aftermarket?

I don't see how all this is possible, its a throttle potentiometer, so it has no direct connection to the engine.

I do have an aftermarket exhaust but only just got that, and its been it happening way before that... Torque converter - how can u be sure its that ? Is there anything i can DIY to check ?

I'd be changing the throttle potentiometer, I didn't think it would have the capability to put force back on the pedal, but I'm often surprised.

And it's definately only on the accelerator pedal, There isn't the same pulse on the other pedals? Might also be worth checking where the throttle sensor is mounted to, if the mount is rubbing on something or moving that might do it.
