    Default HID kit

Hi guys. I got given a HID kit for the beast but it has the H4 bulbs instead of h11. Can I just buy H11 bulbs off eBay or something or is the entire kit useless?

They work fine in projector headlights. Mate has HIDs in his epica and unless you look directly at the light, which your not meant to do, it wont hurt your eyes.

I have HIDs in my fog lights and they throw light everywhere. So I mostly use them for highway and dead roads. (also where I know drunks just walk out with no notice).

Depends if the kit you have is a h4 hi/lo as the h11s don't need the extra relay harness. You can buy h11's off ebay and just plug them into the ballasts. Make sure you don't go higher then 6000k bulbs though as the higher the number the more colour and less visibility. I have a set of 6000k's in my Calais and i can honestly say they are amazing! Can never go back to halogens. So many people hate on them but they don't glare anymore then what the 300C's and BMW's factory HID's do. It's just the idiots who have them pointed up so high that wreck it for others. Dipping the beam is a must. Enjoy

From my knowledge projector beams are the proper way to use HID kits. So it shudnt affect other drivers

Yeah pretty much plug & play... just ditch the extra relay wiring for the hi/lo and you'll be fine. Your welcome mate.
