3.9s or 4.1s

Putting some gears and a true track in my vz ss 6L would 4.11s be to much overkill. The car does allot of hi way kms anyone got ideas? Btw the car has 20s with 225/35 tires if anyone can tell me what revs ill be doing at 100km/110km with 3.9s and 4.11s that would make it an easy choice?

If your doing alot of highway km's and fuel economy is a concern to you, i would stay away from 4.11's as it will rev much higher (i'd say roughly 2500rpm at 100kph) which will lead to higher fuel usage (3.9's will roughly rev at 2200rpm at 100kph). IMO i'd go with 3.46 or 3.73's if it's an auto & your stock gears are still 3.07's. Just my 2 cents...

mine sits around 22-2500rpm with 3.9's at 100kph if your gonna be doing highway driving go for 3.7's

I got 20s with 3:9 gears at 100km/h I sit on 2350rpm.

I'd recommend 3:9s ull love the kick.

4:11 might be too much if ur doing many hwy Ks.

Thanks for the info. Ill be goin 3.9s keep fuel down abit. Its got 3.45s now so will be a good step up i think

3.45 to 3.9 is f'all if your car is manual (which you haven't stated)

4.11's are much better suited for an M6 as 6th gear will be more useable

Yer i would like to go 4.11s but with all the kms i do (bout 600km a week) i hurd they would wear out very quik. And yer soz its a manual
