Hey does anyone know if the "Drive by wire and the 5 speed auto on the VZ SV6 can be tuned with this? I hear CHE are now using this rather then VCM.
call che, im sure they will tell you, ive also heard rumours of powertorque having more flexibility in tuning, walkinshaw based i think

Yeah i will have a talk to Dale on Saturday when i get my Cat back done, From what ive read the Drive by Wire can be adjusted but im not sure if the A5 can be tuned. My car shifts pretty good on the upshifts with the 3.46 diff gears but the downshifts are not ideal atm.
Post up here what you find out, not much has happened untill now

Being the owner of a XR6T, the upside is you can store your stock tune in 1 file, and can have a 95 octane tune and a 98 octane tune. Won't be able to tune the auto as they have just released the tuning for 6 speed auto for ford only. You just plug in take out stock tune and upload what ever tune is stored there, down side is SCT box is $795 before tuning, then add $750-$1000 on top for tuning.
Have recently called power torque and vcm. No updated tuning software will be available ever for the alloytecs. Period. As for 5 sp auto, they're dead, and there is no additional tuning capabilities by anyone, they use what I think 1bar tuning which is very very basic, unlike the ls1 which use 2bar, or something along those lines. Powertorque also said that they will not tune a highly modified alloytec such as my own, as the complexity with tuning it is near impossible to retrieve ultimate tuning for the car. Sorry to burst anyone's bubbles.
sct do not support the V6's as far as im aware so i dont know where you read that???
they do support the V8's
