I've been trying on and off for at least a year now, and still no luck. I want to take the rear seats out so I can put some seat covers on, but the most I ever get to is lifting it up a bit after pulling on the tables underneath the seats. It seems that the back portion of the seats (the part where your back rests on) needs to come out first, and they don't look like they budge at all.
So, anyone ever successfully taken out the rear seats?
The bottom part of the seat doesn't require you to remove the back part. All you have to do is pull outwards on the two tables underneath (making sure they have actually unclipped) and pull up from the bottom right next to each table. Seat should come out almost without any great force. Took me about 5 mins the first time i tried. Goodluck.
Thanks mate. Did someone give you a hand as well, or did you do it yourself? Maybe I am getting the unclipping of the tabs wrong. When I pull the tab, the seat jolts up a bit and that's when I start trying to remove the seat to no avail. Maybe I have to pull more on the clip?
(I am afraid of breaking something).
There is one clip on either side...did you get both? Pull one tab and lift the seat, go around to the other side, pull that sides tab and lift the seat again, then pull it forward to get the buckles out of the seat.
Once you've done that there are two 13mm bolts (one for each side) for the back sections. Undo those and then lift each back section up. They are independent of each other.
Let us know how you go
I've had to use some serious force with the 2 tabs on the lower part of the seat.
Turned out, this was cause mine were broken.
Anyone know where you can get the tab/clips from?
