    Default check power train holden vz 2004

    can anyone give me some tips on here iv read all the above and still with the same problem , got a new ecu programed it , changed both bank 1 and bank 2 o2 sensors and im still stuck with this power train problem flashing on my dash its driving me crazy iv spent over $1500 and still im stuck with this problem it runs smother then it used to now that i changed all the above has a small engine mis but check power train is still there. why cant this problem be solved iv taken it to many auto sparkyz and everyone tells u somthing diffrent.. this shit is driving me insane

    Take it to holden, have them read the fault codes, then repair as necessary, dare say it be your coil packs

    i had same issue cpl of months ago. my obd reader was dead so took it to holden and got them to read it. P0300 and P0303 was the codes (misfire and misfire in no.3 cylinder). Not a hard repair. Did it myself. About 2.5hrs if your handy with the tools. I replaced all six and the manifold gasket. Cost me $100 ea for Fuelmiser coil packs from Repco and i think it was about $30 for the gasket (metal with rubber seals as opposed to the fibrous stuff that they use in factory). Someone on here posted the pages from a workshop manual that shows how to change them. If i can find them i will post the link

    Its rather easy to remove the manifold, then the coil packs are directly below it, just unclip them and swap..
