Exclamation VZ R8 Clubsport Running problem HELP

OK when the car is full it drives fine but when it gets to about 1/4 (35L - 40L used) tank it starts cutting out under load like when i take off from the lights its like is misfiring but i changed the leads plugs and coil packs and it only does in at 1/4 tank i though it might be the gauge reading but i drove it like this for another 15 litters and it just got worse but didint stall so not running out of fuel so im at a loss my exhaust bloke said my o2s looked fine and if it where that it would do it all the time so i put it down to fuel system problem all help would be good

02's can look fine but still be rooted. I would take it to a tuner and he'll tell you whats going on

it sounds like a surging issue in the fuel tank.. fuel pump or filter dirty?

I'd go with impulsive, i'd be leaning towards a surging issue from the tank. Best pay to pop the pump out and have a peep. I had an 02 Xr8 that was doin the same thing, turns out i had water in the tank and when i booted it, bloody watwer would run to the fuel pick up, lol. Very embarrassing

Turned out the heat shields on the spark plug leads where causing the problem cause my mechanic changed the injectors fuel fitter and even checked the pump all good even did a fuel flow check and it all working so he tried the leads and yep it was the heat shields and as for the check power train my trans is on it way out needs a rebuild
