Just went to put the car away for the night and noticed my headlights have stopped working, I have parkers and high beam but no dipped beam. Will check the globes but if it's not that what else could it be?

Fuses. If you have a trailer with a short (or a short somewhere in the wiring) it will blow the fuse.
Do you have dash lights? They should work with the parkers.
Any work been done recently?
Not had any work done, recently. All dash lights working, can't remember the last time I drove at night mainly cause I work away and the car sits in the garage for weeks at a time

Ok so stuck me head under the bonnet this morning, fuses are all good and head light globes are good too. I'm sure I read somewhere on here about the BCM module causing all sorts of problems including no headlights am I correct or did I dream that?

Did you check the fuses under the dash?
Need a part number? PM me.
Luke.
Where abouts are those? I just looked at the 20amp ones under the bonnet.

Ok so just just had a look at the fuses under the steering wheel and there is nothing there relevant to headlights. I went to swap the 60 amp headlight relay with the next 60 amp relay I think it was the engine control relay as I went to pull the ecr out the the headlights flickered so either that was a fluke, or there be my problem.

This site might help you out mate.
Ok the problem seems to have resolved itself now, I remembered that when I was doing my checking I didn't check what happens when the high beam stalk was pushed forwards (I had only checked the pull to flash high beam) well as soon as I did this I noticed the dip beam came on and after several on/off cycles of the headlight switch dip beam is still working. I'm thinking an issue in the indicator stalk but am not sure how this would effect the dip beam...confused now.
