Hey everyone,
So the story is... We were changing the spark plugs and a coil pack decided to go as well, then as we were refitting the plenum and the torque wrench slipped and snapped the bolt.
Now we have about an inch or more of bolt stuck in the thread. Haven't attempted to pull off the plenum and inlet manifold, but does anyone know if that will be enough to get to the thread on the head?
If the bolt is inside the thread and i cant grip it with anything are there any other ways of getting the bolt out?
Thanks..
u will have to drill a hole in the centre of the bolt and use a easy out u can get left hand drill bit/ extractor so while ur drilling in reverse as the hole gets deeper in most cases grips the thread and winds it out cheers
