SV6 manual chewing oil and rough gear changes??

Can i get some help on wtf my car is doing. the other day i have " CHECK POWERTRAIN" come up on my dash so i put more oil in it cause it only had 1 liter in it i hadnt checked it for a while aha. It also caped at 4 grand wouldnt go over that
After doing so the car ran smoother and also gained a bit of power. the warning has since then gone away but the car has a lagging feeling to it has since i brought it just woundering if i could get some answers to why it lags a bit when i drive.

Also would changing the gear box and diff oil help with my rough changes?? its done 116 000 kms

Although it seems you are new to the forum, not sure if you have also got the car recently. The 190kw engine according to the other thread I posted recently with many replies shows that in power mode the gear changes especially when cold and at lower speeds is noticeable. But I usually always get smooth gear changes in normal mode. See if this is the same for you.

its a manual so it doesnt have a power button. it just seems to clunk and a bit rough when i put my foot on the clutch its good sometimes but other times its really bad.

thats alright just hope someone can help me out my brother is a bit of a mechanic he rkns at 100000kms the gearbox and diff oil need to be changed dont know how true it is but might have to get her in the shed tonight
