starting issue

When I go to start my car it fires up then dies, then works fine the second time. What's wrong, imobilizer/fuel pump?

Is your immobiliser hooked up to your fuel pump? If so do you flick the switch before you've ignitioned your car off?

it's definately imobilizer. If I have the driver's side door open when i start the engine it always starts and doesn't die. Will get it fixed next time I'm in Mackay
