Sounds like there's a problem with your air flow, be it a blockage, clogged filter, or dirty AFM, or there's a problem with the fuel system, be it the pump or the injectors (more likely the injectors). It could also be your spark plugs.

Change your sparkys, clean/change your air filter, and use premium (98) unleaded for a couple of weeks, maybe throw in some injector cleaner too. If it's still happening check your AFM and your fuel pump.

Start with the easy/cheap stuff, air filter, better petrol, injector cleaner. Next I'd check the AFM (Air Flow Meter) which is located between the air filter and throttle body, then I'd check a couple of the spark plugs which are easy to get to without removing the plenum chamber to see how they are. If they're dirty/damaged then I'd replace them, but I'd do that as a last resort because you have to remove the plenum chamber which is kinda annoying. Also, the sparkys are supposed to have like a 100,000 - 120,000 Km life, so unless you haven't changed them in that time they should be fine.
