Interior lights. I have map lights and no normal light it seems. Tail and back door light work but not when opening the doors etc. I also noticed that the 'door open' light is not present with ignition on and the door open. "opens fuse comp"... strange, a thingo (a plug, wires attached and a fuse on the wire, looks like a pro dunnit) poked in to the interior light fuse. the radio and lights etc still switch off when the door is opened, so the door switches are operational it seems.
Any ideas?
Is it a plug that you can plug another fuse into? If so its a way of getting a power source from the fusebox. Remove it and put the fuse in as normal and see if anything changes.
Silver Certified.
FYI door open light won't come on the cluster ever ... Lights physically there but there's no wiring from the cluster to the bcm. It can be wired in yourself but its pointless waiting for it to ever illuminate itself ...
tx Torq,
So what you are saying is if im driving and i open the door there will be no little red light on my dash? ok, cool...
Other than that, my main concern is to get the interior lights on.

I could never get interior lights on properly in my vz, worked out it took a combination of 3 different switches to get it right, good luck.
what we have here,is a failure too communicate!!
Do you have the combination? I have a short on the feed. Was going to run a new one but can't work out the combination to use. Happy for the switch not to work and just be door lights.
