Default which oil in vz lsd?

hi all, i'm going to change the oil in the lsd on my vz exec,v6 auto, 57k. I'm hoping that this will take some of the backlash the lsd is exihibiting, what i want to know is there an oil that that is a known and proven help with backlash, not after a favourite brand but something that helps, thanks for any help, Iva.

I use penrite limslip 140 with limslip additive but have upgraded the gears/shims etc

if you want the best go for mainlube 154 75/140 no additive needed with that one

No oil will get rid of backlash unfortunately.

Only a rebuild will cure it.

YES RiCeY, well aware of need too rebuild, the diff was really slack few weeks back and was making d-r selection difficult, so clunky i thought the trans had shit, did'nt drive for a week then decided to have a look underneath, this aint easy for me, 198cm-116klg,car Fe2, anyways got assistant to select DR , front of diff turning and clunking, ok so i decide to drive car and it's returned to normal, that is with just minor clunk on gear selection, i know this is'nt normal but i can live with it . as this problem seems to be intermittent i hoped that an oil change with the best may buy me some time before the rebuild.

If the teeth have lost their hardening, they will wear rapidly. I'd have the money in my pocket if I were you.

Even changing the oil to examine what metal has come off the teeth would be helpful, use a magnet.
