If i was to disconnect the aircon plug behind the console would i cop errors on the cluster or any other problems ? The real mans aircon is the windows down and system up this summer anyways !!
Just cut off the A/C fan belt, it robs way to much power anywayz....lol
Lol i dont want to destroy it, im just in the middle of cutting up an ssz centre console with C/C, and just as a temporary thing could the car cope without having the A/C plugged in ?
Oh righto. Yeah it should be fine. As long as you have the hazard light button plugged in everything seems to work fine.
I honesty don't see why you would leave it unplugged when you can simply turn it off. Hell, pull the fuse if your scared someone is going to accidentally use it. Unplugging it is a stupid idea.
Unplugged for one reason only, that being the aircon controls wont be attached to anything to hold them in while i 'slowly' convert the dash, otherwise id be happy to have them there, but if i lose A/C for a while thats fine - cuz i gain 2 extra cup holders and binnacle gauges on top![]()
Well i didnt end up disconnecting the A/C, just cut the C/C controls out roughly and the A/C fit right in, looks better with the SSZ console, cup holders and binnacles, the dodgy cutting will make me dremel and glass it properly asap... Sorry i cant put up a pic atm, no access to a pc
pics up asap, i want to do something with an SSZ dash also...
