My new springs (Pedders 6412) are 2cm too high... Help!

I recently got Monroe GT Sports Shocks/Struts & new strut mounts along with my Pedders 6412 springs.

Am I safe to assume the reason could be the bump stop on the new shocks or simply the unmolested strut mounts?

I was told by Pedders themselves (I got them installed elsewhere) that it is too high - Visually they see nothing wrong. They told me to get 2275 springs, which are apparently for the VS commodore.

The guy I bought my springs from is willing to refund me if I buy new springs from him - Should I get new springs? If so what? Or should I change BACK my strut mounts or -- SOMETHING.

I am mechanically retarded so help me out!
