Help Needed asap! Transmission compatability question!
Hi guys, I have a WL V6 statesman (VZ equivalent) so i thought this would be the appropriate thread! Anyway the other day my transmission just decided to stop working when i put it in drive or reverse it just revs like its in neutral, i have read on here about this happening to others. So i am on the hunt for a new transmission, i need one asap or else i have no car for work.
So what i am asking is i have found a 5 speed transmission from a VE calais with a 190kw alloytec. The motor in my car is a 190kw and trans is also a 5 speed! Will the trans from the VE fit in my WL? I dont see why not but i just want to make sure before i go throwing around a lot of cash! The numbers on the VE trans is 9HK if that helps, i cant see the numbers on my transmission the are covered.
Any help would be much appreciated!
