vz speakers size

Hey all just wondering what size speakers can go in the doors in a vy/vz door

Factory standard are 6" and 6" splits in the front. Though you can put 6.5" splits in the front, which sound a lot better, its just hard to trying to pull out the dash pieces to replace the factory tweeters in the dash.

Have a look at the How-To section of the forums, there are fully detailed along with pictures for installing aftermarkets head units, including speakers and subs, etc.

iv got similar question, I have a 2005 vz storm ute, not keen on ridiculous amp or subby. but thining about putting rear sized speakrs, 9'' I believe just behind seats to add a more surround sounding , worried about distortion as they will be directly right into the back of driver and passenger seats. any help or idea?

so you want surround sound and your thining about 6x9 , why not just fit component speakrs .

iv never come across this before, or if so haven't noticed it.

is it just larger speakers in the door, with what looks like tweeters aswell?
what are the rectangle looking speakers?

stuffed if I know I just showing you what they are. I think it was the original factory spot before they changed the set up.

by separating the two it really liven things up , talk to your audio store they will help.
