    Default Catback Exhaust Brands?

Hi guys, i just bought a VZ Commodore Executive for $8k. It's my first car and im pumped as! The first thing i want to do is get it sounding a bit more thirsty, I want it to have that guzzle like sound that the V8's have. Which catback exhaust has the best sound? I have big plans for my new vz and ill keep you all updated! Thanks guys

Can I suggest a full service first... Fuel filter, Oil, Oil filter, Spark plugs, Air filter, Belt & Transmission service...

An when it comes to exhaust, It's an Alloytec motor, You'll never have it "Sound" Remotely close to a V8, Because it's missing two pistons.
For an exhaust, Which area are you in? If you are Anywhere near Hallam, Go down to Hallam performance. Talk to Barney, See what he recommends for an exhaust for them.
He's been building exhausts longer than you've been walking. Any off the shelf exhaust will have a generic sound, An be like any other VZ V6 on the road.

    Cheers

Congrats on buying the car mate. Sounds like a good one, but here is a heads up have a search before asking a question, this topic has been covered many, many, many times. I recommend starting here : The Ultimate Alloytec Performance Thread

I personally just went the 2.5" mandrel cat back with straight through muffler and resonator. But that was me, personal opinion in the end

Ouch 8k for an executive. They must of seen you coming. As Mat said the best thing to do is always do a full service. Hit up Not_An_Abba_Fan on here for an exhaust quote. He's the man when it comes to exhausts.
