Is it worth it getting VCM tune ( i think thats what it called ) to my SV6 VZ or even a power chip.
I have been given a price on a full pace maker system with extractors at about $2500 and a grower CAI for about 500. Just need to know which is the best way to get a bit more power out of my car and also a smoother drive. and also whats the best way about getting my gearbox to be a bit smoother, its a manual but clunks a fair bit when i change in low gears 1st to 2nd somethings 3rd aswel. any tips or idea's would be muchly appreciated thanks![]()
Save the money on the tune and get your gearbox looked at by a pro before you blow $3000 trying to make a 6 fast and then your gearbox gives up.

Is it worth it? No. Be careful taking it to someone who can see $$ signs. Before they do anything expensive get another opinion.
look at the gearbox first. Forget about the growler and exhaust. Save ur $$ and Get an LS1 best thing i ever did.

Fishman88 - Just checked out your photos man Im loving the look of that car. What size/brand are the wheels? did you paint the callipers yourself? and modify the dash yourself?
Hi hesher rims are RPM Vegas 19x8.5 front and 19x9.5 rear. U can get these from Big O tyres in Moorebank chek there website out possibly can get it somewer else too. These rims are a pain to clean but... they look awesome!! I did the calipers myself quiet easy just alot of masking up. The dash is stock?? i just put in those gauges which is an oem item anyway. Thanks for comments.
