    Default Vz sv6 performance

    Just wondering if the sv6 benefits from head work, cams or hi comps?
    Also if anyone knows of a sight for cams that will be good cheers.

    your looking at big money for anything you mentioned.. if you are dead serious, speak to performance manifolds, dont get a shock when he tells you cams are about $600 each.. uninstalled, or tuned...

    are you aware of what is involved of installing 4 cams? if you have that kind of money, why not twin turbo it?

    the only person who has done these kinds of things is phil @ peformance manifolds.. the guy who does CPR6.. mind you his alloytec had a lot of work.

    Very aware of whAt it's like with 4 cams, replaced some in a jag v8 with 4 chains it's a pain.

    hey man, speak to MACE engineering (steve) on here. They are a forum spnsor. He is releasing cams for the alloytec and direct injection versions soon. Was hoping for around $1100 for four. Which is much better than $600 a piece. Other than that get some mace spacers, full exhaust system and better air intake, maybe even diff gears. These will help accomodate a cam swap.

    yeah, then they need to be tuned.. a lot of money when you could supercharge it and get the same results for less $$ and hassle i reckon
