    Default VE SV6 or VZ??????

    Hello

I always liked the look of the VZ's. after recently going and looking at a few ive considered moving up to the VE because they are roughly around the same price, but the VE's are newer, and can still look mean.

Any advice on the pros and cons for each? its for P plates, so no V8's etc

    THANksssssss

    Thanks brah

Is that the actual model of the car?

VE SIDI? Same thing as VE SV6 etc but the cars make is actually called SIDI??

I also looking at the power weight ratio.. the VE and VZ pretty much...same engine, but the VE is more heavier. so...less power?

No sidi is in the engine "spark ignition direct injection" a new technology Holden come up with to save fuel
All new VE sv6's have them from 2008 and up I belive
You get 210kw out of the new VE sv6s there more quicker than a VZ more developted engine and better gearbox

He's on his P's and if in QLD limited to 200kW tops. So that rules out the VE sv6's if they do put out 210kW like you say.... Just a heads up

SIDI wasn't released until the my10 model. So a ve sv6 up until then was the old 195kw alloytec motor.

Learn to drive 1st if you are on you're P's, before you start thinking about power to weight ratios.
I see alot of red P-Plates zipping through traffic now a days with no concern about others

Trust me brah, i been driving for 9 years already. All manual. i have experience on controlling my car DOWN. the biggest danger on the road is the people that are the opposite of me.

But i LOVEEEE Cars and would really live to have a crazy first car that i can always look back on with a smile.

My dad suggested a yaris..... I actually died of laughter, oxygen was cut off to my brain. And after 36 months of rehabilitation, i regained the ability to walk and started to talk better. And here i am now looking through carsales for a CAR not a TOY

Embrace my magical experience through, text. and drive till you die, but dont drive high...cause you'll die HAHA

So basically, i am NOT a typical 'P plater' or hoon. i admit i may accidently slip off the clutch due to wet boots resulting in the loss of traction, but controlling this 'loss' as i am a skilled driver, making it appear that i am doing a burnout, or as the pig on the news says 'hooning'. me.. i HATE P PLATERS. except the good ones, then i love P platers. See it from my mindset and fully embrace what i see.

    But remember, dont die

Same here, i'm looking at getting a Ford. Wanted to get a WL Caprice but not going to go near them now because of the problems with the V6 engines.

Not really. If everyone that didnt have problems started threads they would easily outweigh the threads with issues. Thing is people that have no issues dont really need to start threads.

I got one - fantastic car. No issues mechanically or electrically. Would have preferred the 8, but in terms of being stuck in traffic it is great. Reasonable power, good economy etc.

Wanted a WM, but the price was double and the range at the time not much chop.
