    Default why does my VZ SV6 left front tyre sqeak?! please help

    Hi, i have a VZ sv6 andI dont know why but when when im turning left or driving about 40ks it sqeaks? Whyyyy!!

    check your brake pads they may be getting low (down to the squeel tab) and check both sides if one is wearing faster than the other you will need to have them looked at

    Forgot to say. Its not the brake pads cause everytime i brake it stops sqeakin conpletety. But if i let go of the brake while the car is driving slow it still manages to sqeak.

    That's what wear tabs do, they can squeel when not pressing the brakes

    Cheers for the feedback i will definetly have a look tomorrow morning.

    You guys wouldnt happen to know 'where' and 'how much' it would be to replace brake pads?

    brake pads are really easy to change but if you not sure see if a mate or someone will come and show you how to do it so you can learn... they are the most important safety device on the car and you want to make sure its right. besides that any mechanic will be able to do it for you. as for price not sure i havent been to a mechanics in over a decade but it cant see it being over $100 to do it plus the price of pads but i could be wrong.
