    Default vz ss ute battery relocation

    just wondering if anybody can tell me how i can relocate my battery from engine bay to maybe behind my seat or has someone else put it somewere different got some pictures maybe ? thanks

    my mate with a VU LS1 put his battery in above the fuel tank as he placed a turbo on his engine

    Make sure all wires are insulated very well
    EASY $30 DIY Cold Air Induction!

    shouldn't be to hard to remove the bolts from the fuel tank cover on top of the ute tray and have a look see

    Lift up that panel and there's a massive empty space next to it - plenty of room for a battery.

    problem is its right next to the fuel tank if it sparks :S might just make a custom boot in my tray and put it in there

    Petrol tank is a sealed unit, you can happily weld up the back of your tray without burning the car to the ground, so a few sparks from a battery (why it'd spark is beyond me) will be fine.
