    Default lowered, half done job

Hi all i recently purchased my car and it was lowered when i brought it, i took it to a mechanic cause it had a bit of clunking and what not from the suspension. He said that all my bushes ect, where fine but the person who got it lowered did half a job. The mechanic told me i need to put sports suspension through the car it still has its stock suspenion. is this true or is he bull shitting me?

I assume he would be talking about the shockers, how low is the car?

If its lower than 38-39cm from the centre of the hub to the guard id recommend lowered shocks/struts (monroe gt).

    $400 + Parts

Give or take. I recommend JAX Quickfit as they are the cheapest.

I have spent well over $1500 all up on my stupid ####ing suspension.

Struts and shocks wont improve anything unless you get some sort of comfort range. But even then because the car is so low there isnt enough travel for the shocks to do their work.

You are doomed. At least for the rear... My front springs/struts seem alright. But then again I am as low as I can be on the rear haha.

thats low enough, you wont want to go much lower than that. I see people lowering their cars to the ground but because of australias fantastic road quality they cant drive very fast
