Before the diff it was 155.1rwkw in 3rd then 148rwkw in 3rd after the diff but the torque is higher with the new diff.
if i keep driving it do you think it could cause damage to the diff or gearbox???
i dont think it will cause damage, but give your dif guys a call tomorrow, as they did the rebuild, they should have adjusted the backlash accordingly, so just see what they say, wouldnt stress too much.
have you taken your car down the 1/4? will be interesting to see what it does
I have a feeling they might be closed tomorrow but i hope they're open. I just dont understand why the problem only started now?
I havn't ever been to the drags yet. Very keen to go once this is fixed!
Im super happy with the 0-100 time though, i think treating the car like gold has paid off! Well i'll really know when i go down the quarter mile.
Any idea what time on the quarter mile is considered quick for a n/a alloytec (not stock)?
Well my car did a 15.3 standard, 15.1 with dif gears and catback, which was quicker than another alloytec sv6 with cpr6 and full exhaust and cai. also seen 14.7 with full exhaust, cpr6 and tune, also seen 14.3 with full exhaust and tune only with open pod filter. I'm hoping for high 13 with my car as is, but still need extractors lol
some videos of my car and the last one a mates supercharged sv6, running these times.

Update on the diff, spoke to the shop and he said its to do with the LSD being so tight. Nothing to worry about, if i want it gone he said he would put in a friction modifier but I think i'll leave it as i can't notice it now :S.
