Hey just wondering if anyone knows the answer to a little issue i have with my vz commy,
I got home from nihht shift last nite and seen an excessive amount of water from under my car as i was
Reversing it into the drive. I parked up had a look and under the car on the left side of the gearbox is a
Bung that was dripping alot. I know aircon leaks out when its been on, but this isnt the usual puddle, its a massive puddle! Ive been searching everywhere on what could be up with it, some say its due to the heat,
But this was at night and im sure thats not it. I have checked the coolant in case it was the issue and it has
Dropped a little lower than its average measurement. I topped up a little more to the max and test drove it today - still alot of water coming out? This bung by the gearbox ? Is it connected to the water supply or
Circulation of the car? Can this be fixed? Easy?
is the water cold if it is it is coming fron the air con. nothing to worry about and no, there is no water going to the trans.
Yeah it is cold, and i generally wouldnt be worried but its still dripping an hour later??
It did feel strange to drive though, last nite as i started the car my aircon was blasting due
To the hot weather when i parked it up , could this have done something?
Would it also cause my car to feel slightly sluggish?
Its normal, if that water wasn't coming out like that then there would be a problem, but in your case, you have nothing to worry about. My VS and WH do exactly the same thing.
If you drive with the A/C on then it might make the car feel a bit sluggish, but all cars do. 4 cylinder engines you can really notice the difference between driving with the A/C on or off.

If it's been a bit more humid than usual your air con will throw a bit more moisture out than it usually does, but yeah no problem.
We've had hotter days than this, and ive never noticed it.
I drove it just before and it seems ok, i guess im just used to murphys law, if something could go wrong - it will
