Simple answer is to get it scanned. Same happened straight after I had my exhaust fitted to my 6L Crewie. Had it scanned & reset along with all other history & has been all good the last six weeks now.

Yeh put the scanner the codes are P0420 bank 1
    P0430 bank 2
    P0420 pd bank 1
    P0420 pd bank 2
Catalytic converter system- efficiency blew threshold
I pull out the oxygen sensors cleaned them up, start the car n it's pushing out black smoke, the codes haven't come back thou I haven't had a chance to drive it

They will come back on mate. It usually happens when u play around with your exhaust system. The easiest thing to do is turn off all the emission related / o2 sensor codes so it wont bring up the "check powertrain" light again.
Any performance shops who has the software should be able to do this for a small fee. Make sure they dont turn it off completely though, just the emission related codes.

I feel your pain bro I had the same problem but every time I got the code wiped within an hour it was back in the end I got the car maffless tuned and got an otr fitted and been perfect ever since. But that was an expensive way to fix it

I had this fault in my 2005 vz wagon it is now cured, my recommendation is don't go to a mechanic go to an auto electrician first and make sure they have diagnostic equipment able to find fault with Holdens. Mine was running on 5 cylinders not nice, there are numerous faults associated with power train fault mine ended up being a bent pin in that electrical plate at front top left of motor in the first instance then number 2 injector had electrical fault. Haven't got the bill yet and was suffering withdrawl symptoms after nearly two weeks without it but it was worth the wait. I tried a new plug in number two and swapped coil pack with number four to see if it was either of these and to be able to put in replacement coil pack in number four without lifting air intake again and taking out the easy o2 censor and cleaning it, waste of time.
