Any advice appreciated. We have a 2006 VZ commodore which started flashing the check powertrain message approx 1 month ago. We didn't get it checked at the time (yes...bad) and about a fortnight ago it started overheating. At quite a great speed. Got it into the shop and they replaced the radiator which was completely stuffed and the cause obviously of the overheating however while they reset the computer it is still giving us the powertrain message at startup. The initial computer check revealed no problem with the electrics, fault displayed as radiator issue only. Wondering whether the radiator was the original fault or is secondary to an issue not yet identified, or whether the computer has not been reset correctly. Any ideas? Oh and we will be getting the computer checked again. Prob is that the first shop we took it to couldnt replace radiators so it was transferred to a second shop. The second shop didn't have the comp to check the error message and so now we apparently have to go back to the first shop. Sigh.
