I've just bought a used sv6 and the servise reminder is flashing can anyone tell me how to cansel it. (done 16500 /flashing 15000)

U need the service done apprx. $ 250

hold the two arrow buttons while turning the key on.
when the dash beeps release the 2 arrows & press & hold the set (top right) button
after a second or two it will beep & display that it has been reset

You could just get the 15000 service done!

I though that would have been a good dealer one to get done before doing it yourself.

This doesn't work, it beeps and flashes reset... But you turn the car off again and the stupid reminder is still there..

it should be in your service manual, instructions are in my vx..... I followed them when i serviced mine and it worked straight away.......

it may be too far past the due service to reset without a tech2, take it to the dealer & get them to do it for you
