Safety Mode Reduced Performance

hi my 04 vz ss is coming up with this code (safety mode reduced performance) i dont know what it means but it has no power when i try and rev the engine it wont go past 1500rpm and when i put the clutch in it wont rev at all can some one plz help me thanks.

Sounds like limp mode so basically the car has detected a major failure and has gone into like a safe mode so you can drive it to a mechanic.

Plenty of threads on safety mode on the forum, repeatedly digging up old ones will just get you ignored.
