Can anyone help with this fault code
P0011 A camshaft position - timing over advanced or system performance (Bank 1)
poor idle, bit down on performance, has a start-up rattle when cold maybe 3 seconds
but the longer i let it sit the longer the start-up rattle lasts maybe 4-5 seconds.
I did notice with the rocker covers off ,turning the engine by hand
on one of the plates on the front of the cam sprocket
made a funny rattle sound that didn't sound right.
any help would be very much appreciated..Cheers

your timing chain is stretched, its skipping a tooth, when you get a camshaft fault code, it means chains on its way out, and judging from your description," rattles on startup" its a chain

Well I just replaced the timing chains idler sprockets ect,
they needed doing, now have smooth idle and no startup rattle but
now its throwing a P0008 code
i run a diagnostic on the motor while running and seems the timing is fluctuating
between -1.5 , 0-0 , +1.5
could this be a Failed camshaft position sensor or camshaft position actuator solenoid ?
