hey fznx, i have a vz adventra w 190kw alloytec. i took off the drivers side engine cover as the other side is too much of mission to take a pic of due to all the stuff in the way. i took the photos looking down in the area just behind the ecu which is mounted high up on the drivers side at the front. i'm useless with gadgets so somehow the pics came out upside down. anyways i hope it still is of some use to ya for comparison purposes. cheers

i had a suspicion.. but now i have to ask, is it possible the car has been repowered with a 175kw engine (or had 175kw heads installed?) with the original 190kw loom has been left in place? just left unplugged? i'll have a look tonight to trace the connectors but that's what it looks like to me.
grab the engine number off the side of the motor by the bellhousing above the starter motor (passenger side) what are the first 5 digits? 10H??
10H7C & 10H7A is 190kw, 10HB? is a 175kw. i'll re-check my info tonight & come back.

to be honest mate i'm not sure, as i'm no expert but i suspect not.
from memory there are differences in the number of sensors on a 175/190 because variable cam phasing(fancy word for timing?) is done on all 4 cams in the 190 & i think it's only done on the intake on the 175.
i will have to go back over some of my old info to confirm, in the meantime hopefully someone more knowledgeable will chime in & call it.
are those connectors just dangling with nowhere to plug them in?
oh and does the car run fine?
