Places to bore out rims?

Recently acquired a set of 18x8 ve rims to go on my vz sv6 I need to bore out centre I was told 250 for the 4.
Is there anywere cheaper like 100 for the 4 in north western suburbs?

don't be such a cheap skate. $25 a wheel, really? would you do it for that price for other people if you could do the work yourself? no didn't think so.

250 isn't real expensive. Just to remove and refit tyre is a fair bit of it. I got them done for 55 a wheel (with tyre r&r) and I think my mate just spent about the same... So 220 for the set. That's about the cheapest I could find.

If your tyres are already off then yes that is expensive and don't go there.

When I search through forums I found that people were getting them done for 25-30 a rim so excuse me for wanting more information.

I had them done by a wheel shop in Newcastle for 25 a wheel. Its an engineering place aswell so in no way a cheap dodgy option.

$250 is a rip off.

ok this is going back a few years so the place might no longer exist...its called neales wheels and it located on the hume highway at Chullora near the rail yards on the Liverpool side .......correction seemed they moved new address is

Yes mate 250 for bare rims is steep. It should be about 30 a rim. Can't help you with places in Sydney sorry.
