I recently obtained a VZ sump guard from 4Blok for my VZ Adventra.
It's pretty thin (1mm) galvo, but it was cheap and I mainly wanted it to help clean up the under-body airflow, so no problem.
I also figured I could use it as a template if I needed to get a heavier one made.

The question is, how to fit it?

I did a dry run & it looks like 4 holes line up, the 2 biggest with grooves/rails under the engine.
I think I need 2 t-bolts (never used these before), and a couple of other bolts, but have no idea what size to get.

I'd try to measure the holes, but I'm not very mechanical & will probably stuff it up.
Can anyone advise?

My sedan has 4x standard bolts holding it on. Has to come off to access oil filter from below.

Would have thought 4blok would have supplied fasteners with the guard..

I'll measure on Saturday when I have to take mine off to change the oil. I am pretty sure they are 15mm head and will measure the thread as well.

Go to a Holden Dealer and buy them. They will know exact size etc.

I checked the bolts on mine and they are a stock standard M8 thread and are 30mm long - M8x30
You could easily get away with M8x25 as well since the bolts are heaps longer than really required.

Forget Holden, just go to a fasteners shop and get some. cost you less than 4 bux.

Thanks all, but what about the grommetted holes that line up with the rails?
There doesn't seem to be anything to bolt into.
Do I need t-bolts?

(Sorry if I'm using the wrong terminology)

Maybe I should take a photo; it's an Adventra, and they can be unusual.
