2017 VF SV6 Series ll
so my SV6 badge fell off while i was driving i guess i bought a new one to put on and have a quick question you can see where the old one was i.e the glue residue do i need to remove this before applying the new badge or can i just stick the new badge over the old glue? if i do need to remove to glue what can i use without scratching the paint? cheers!

They can't "just fall off".

Tea tree oil will take off the residue.

its been abit wobbly for a while never got around to re glueing it down someone may very well have stolen it but im putting my money on it falling off

My VZ bootlid badge did "just fall off"
as I was closing the boot it quite literally just popped off into my hand as it shut.
But in a way i agree, they SHOULDN'T just fall off lol

Eucalyptus Oil even Turpentine (Turps) or Prepsol will also likely (safely) remove the glue residue.
