New to forum,
I have a continuing problem refuelling my CV8 VZ, unless you trickle feed hand-piece of pump, it continually clicks off taking 10 min to take 40l, does it at every petrol station, I have to use a plastic funnel to defeat the nozzle cut-off.
Monaro did NOT do this when I bought it 2009, filled up quite normally with the pump nozzle,used to take 2-3 min max.
Strangely I can pore 10 litres from a jerry can into it in under a 1 min.
Replaced evap canister on advice from GTO forum as 2006 GTO is a Monaro, seemed to help very slightly if any as it could cause a tank-breating problem.
So o.k, does anyone know how to fix the fault, is it maybe the charcoal canister?
Started doing this after remove/replaced fuel door flap, moved filler top 5mm to remove flap, nothing seemed disturbed when reassembled, vent pipe isn't kinked at all.
What am I missing?
