installing water temperature gauge

hi everyone, i just picked up a SAAS water temperature gauge to install. the question I had is what size is the radiator hose in a VZ as I have to get the right size to install. I cant find any info anywhere

Not much help, buy the Mackay parts list has the top one with the dimensions listed in mm as 34/37 x 560 long and the bottom hose as 31/35 x 350 long.

I'm not much help either - but I had a Vectra with a themocouple inserted in the radiator hose to control the engine fan. Not sure why it was added but I had to remove it because it cracked the inlet port on the radiator which cost a fortune to replace. My point is that if it involves inserting something over a plastic port under a radiator hose, it might be worth taking this risk into account. But in saying that I have no idea if the same will apply on a VZ.
