My father in laws cars radio turns on by self whenever it wants to. Car on/off,day/night!
Why??

Standard HU or aftermarket?

To me sounds like a dodgy connection somewhere along the line.

Is it completely losing all power or just the sound is cutting out or....?

Stock head unit.. Works fine whilst driving. But I can come to the car after he has come home and it's on. It is defiantly off when he turns the car off..
