VZ 6.0 SS Thunder
Hi All,

I have a 2007 VZ SS Thunder and I want to tow with it but it is sitting too low in the rear for my liking. It's got Pedders Sportsryder springs front and rear and they assure me these are the same ride height as the standard FE2 but it's much lower in the rear than other SS utes I've seen around so is this just bullshit?

My question is - Can the ride height be increased in the rear without changing the springs?

I used the 10mm spacers to get my desired ride height unladen with full petrol.
Then I also use poly air bags for when I carry loads or rear passengers and luggage.

Have you considered replacing the rear shock absorbers over and installing a pair of Monroe Gas Riser. Check out Monroes web site, Only a thought mate :blah blah:

I had self levelling shocks in my senator std from HSV and they are crap.
The HSV version (made by monroe) are supposed to be similar to the Monroe Gas Riser but with better shock inside the air bag.
Well if thats the case can only imagine how bad the shock in the Gas Riser is because the HSV version is so soft on both bounce and rebound.
Thats why I turfed my air shocks and fitted Koni shocks with poly air bags.
