custom phone charging under centre console

Hey all was planning on installing a QI wireless phone charging pad under my center console in my vz I also wanted to install my aftermarket head unit Aux input in my console wondering would having two charging sources cause probles? For example if a qi enabled phone is placed in the console on the qi charging section while plugged into usb for the head unit would that cause issues or would the phone automatically choose one charging source over the other?

You could probably set the USB not to charge on the phone.

Have you considered bluetooth audio, would make it completely wireless then.

Yes I am considering Bluetooth audio also more so for my phone note 2(soon to be note 4) while the usb more for iPhone integration(have friends with iPhone but was unsure of Bluetooth integration and how Bluetooth on iPhone worked.) How well does Bluetooth work with iPhone? Do you get media control over Bluetooth like with android devices?
