VZ commodore wagon powertrain light on and engine vibrates

Any advice would be appreciated:
I had my VZ Commodore serviced 2 weeks ago. (110k). I have also just replaced the battery.
Just yesterday while driving, the Powertrain light came on and the engine started vibrating. The vibrating eased and I was able to drive the car another few hours to get home.
The light still comes on and the vibrating continues on low revs e.g. at red lights. It starts every time and I can still drive it.

Does anyone have any answers for me? Thank you. Patrick.

Could be engine mount(s). harmonic Balancer or it could even be a mis-fire caused by faulty spark plug(s) or coil(s). If you are a member of an Auto Club call them and ask them if the car is safe to drive. They will even call at your home address and may be able to isolate the problem(s). Otherwise arrange to see a reputable auto mechanic. Good luck.
