Hi Guys,

Just been monitoring my oil consumption over the past few months & it is around 1.5 L over 5000km. A year or so ago water pump seal failed and car got hot (limp home mode) When it did this I believe the stem seals got cooked and now are leaking. I have just replaced my spark plugs @ 195k, (have done (100K). A few telltales of carbon deposits on the plugs & white ash. Car still running like a dream, plenty of power. Not smoking under load. I have been servicing it with fully synthetic nulon oil since around the 50,000km mark every 5000k.

Question is, has anyone DIY'd this job before? I'm pretty confident at having a crack, but wondering if anyone has some tips/info/pics that might help.

Cheers
